Recital tips for your student – getting ready when it’s your turn to go to the stage. Rehearsing this with your student two or three times before their recital will help with their success!

1- take a minute to make sure your chair is positioned good for you
2-if you have music with you, adjust it so that it won’t fall
3-piano and guitar players, place your hands before you start playing
4-take a deep breath before you begin
5-if you make a mistake and you want to go back to the beginning, that’s fine
6-when you’re finished, grab your music – as people are clapping, take a small bow to say thank you!
7-exit off to the other side of the stage to find your parents

RECITAL STARTS @ 6:30 – students need to arrive at 6:00 PM. All students will be sitting in a reserved section with their instructors. It’s going to be a GREAT night!
