Where are you from?  Huntsville, AL

How long have you been playing?  I started playing when I was 11 years old — I never took lessons until college, I just learned on my own

Where did you get your music education?  Highlands College — I knew how to play, but this is where I understood what I was actually doing — the theory behind it all

Where do you perform?  Highlands, mainly at the McCalla Campus

What are your top three artists on your iPhone right now?  Allen Stone, PJ Morton, Maverick City Worship (their Spanish Album)

Who has been your biggest musical influences? Allen Stone

What’s your favorite “stage” memory?  It was an “open mic” night at a local coffee shop, when I was fifteen; many of my friends and family showed up — it was so special

Most embarrassing stage memory? I’m actually a soprano, but our normal worship sets are usually for the alto — so I’m always chocking on my spit — so embarrassing — although no one probably hears it, it happens

Favorite restaurant?  Chuys

Favorite movie?  Any of the Star Wars

What do you like to do on your day off?  Working around the house, crafty projects

Favorite Scripture?  “Those who plant in tears will harvest in shouts of joy.  They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.” — Psalm 126:5-6

What’s your favorite “stage” memory?  During a “One” night, with Highlands — flowing during the worship set

Most embarrassing stage memory? First Highlands college chapel, I totally went blank – words and chords (I was singing and playing).  I got through it…and the rest of the night went well

Favorite restaurant?  Chipotle

Favorite movie?  Deception

What do you like to do on your day off?  Nothing, sleep

Favorite Scripture?  “What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things” — Philippians 3:8
